This hand made Buffalo shot horn measures 13" long, as measured around the outer curve from the of the flash head to the top of the base. The tip is fitted with a Pedersoli Irish style flask head with a removable telescoping charger cup, adjustable to 1, or 1-1/4, or 1-1/2 ounces of shot. The body of the buffalo horn is black in color. Buffalo horn differs from cow horn and the smooth hand scraped finish displays some of the natural grain of the horn along the body. The base is decorated with brass tacks that engage the base plug. The 3" diameter ash base plug has golden brown tone. A leather strap is fitted.
