

Siler's right Mountain percussion lock is a classic, circa 1830 - 1850 style, with rounded tail, and notched for our 1/2" powder drum.
Based on Siler's best large internal lock parts, it is a reliable choice for a percussion late longrifle, Plains rifle, or Ohio rifle.
Powder drum, 1/2" diameter, 5/16-24 thread, not drilled for nipple
Hammer, percussion, 1.65" throw, wax cast steel, as cast
Bridle, wax cast steel, as cast, use two screws
Sear spring, die formed steel, tempered, use 8-32 screw
Tumbler screw, .50" head diameter, 8-32 thread
Fly detent, tempered, long, wax cast steel, fits right, left, large, or small Siler locks
Sear, tempered, integral bearings, use 8-32 screw
Lock plate, wax cast steel, 4.7" x .97", as cast
Nipple, 1/4-28 thread, for standard rifle, #11 CCI cap, stainless steel
