Made for Track's "Mohawk Belt Axe", this axe handle is made from hickory, it is unstained and sanded smooth. The handle measures 14" long with rounded grip. The handle will need to be notched and have a wedge fitted to secure the head.
Made to fit the Mohawk Axe head, this handle has a "keyhole shaped" tapered top cross section, about .560" wide at the upper end, tapering to .360" wide at the lower end, about 1.5" eye length. Not stained or finished, it can be hand fitted to other older axe heads, where the maker does not provide spare handles.
